Carolina Hoyos (she/they) is a nonbinary Two Spirit Afro-Indigenous (Quechua-
Kichwa) Latine stage and film actor-writer-director, musician and voice artist.
Recent Film/TV credits include Jimmy Kimmel Live, MTV Hits, Nicholas Winding Refn’s Too Old To Die Young, Austin Film Festival winner Blackwater and a new Netflix series releasing late 2022. As a voice actor, Carolina has voiced Cherokee engineer Mary Golda Ross for Nick Jr, narrated 2 Audiofile Earphone Award winning audiobooks and has completed several popular video games and animated series to which they cannot disclose—yet! Recent stage credits include Macbeth, Comedy of Errors and Romeo & Juliet with Black Girls Luv The Bard, The Bowels at Women’s Theatre Festival, solo commissions with The Peace Studio and Celebration Theatre and directing debut feature film/theater hybrid Indigiqueer Identity: Reclaiming Past, Present and Future as well as Birthday Brunch, both for Celebration Theatre.
